PCBAtlas is built around a local-first PCB review workflow. This page explains how the app, website, Apple in-app purchase, and optional services you configure may process information.

Overview
PCBAtlas is designed as a local-first PCB review workspace. The app lets you import, inspect, organize, and export PCB design or manufacturing files on your Apple devices.
This policy explains what information may be processed by PCBAtlas, the PCBAtlas website, Apple services used for purchases, and optional services that you choose to configure.
PCB files and workspace data
PCBAtlas does not require you to upload board files to an Astroform Software server to use the core review workflow.
Board files, imported workspaces, generated previews, settings, and local review data are stored on your device or in locations you choose through Apple system file pickers and sharing controls.
- If you export, share, email, copy, or save files outside PCBAtlas, that action is controlled by you and by the destination service or app.
- If you use iCloud, device backup, Mobile Device Management, or other Apple/system-level storage, those services are governed by their own settings and policies.
Purchases
PCBAtlas Plus is provided through Apple in-app purchase. Purchase, payment, receipt, refund, and restoration flows are handled by Apple StoreKit and the App Store.
PCBAtlas receives purchase entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock Plus features. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.
Optional AI features
PCBAtlas may include optional AI-related workflows that only operate when you configure a provider, credentials, and sharing settings.
If you choose to use those features, the content you send may be processed by the AI service provider you selected. Review that provider's privacy policy and your own account settings before enabling these workflows.
Support and diagnostics
If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, your message, and any screenshots, files, logs, or diagnostic details that you decide to send.
Support information is used to respond to your request, diagnose problems, improve PCBAtlas, and maintain product quality.
Website data
When you visit the PCBAtlas website, standard server logs may include technical information such as IP address, request path, browser user agent, referrer, and request time.
This information is used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, traffic understanding, and website operation.
Children's privacy
PCBAtlas is intended for PCB review and engineering workflows. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
